Web Chat Sales Supervisor

Job Summary:

As our Web Chat Sales Supervisor, you will lead a team of sales consultants in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. This role focuses on strengthening sales results, coaching individual performance, maintaining chat quality, and supporting a consistent customer experience. The ideal candidate is an experienced sales leader with strong communication skills and proven ability to develop motivated, high-performing teams.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Meeting established sales goals and producing accurate, complete work.
  • Respectful to co-workers with a high value of integrity.
  • Adhering to department and company procedures and policies.
  • Providing a high level of service to all customers.
  • Coaching and managing a team of 12-15 travel agent sales consultants, including daily coaching and follow-up on sales behaviors.
  • Monitoring chat sessions to evaluate performance gaps and provide feedback, and scheduling team meetings.
  • Conducting one-on-one coaching sessions, providing performance improvement plans, and documenting results.
  • Managing daily payroll review, bi-weekly submission, and monitoring daily attendance and adherence.
  • Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams on departmental projects, training and development initiatives, team-building activities, and other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong Sales skills and understanding of the sales cycle
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a web chat sales environment
  • Previous supervisor experience in a sales capacity
  • Call center experience within the travel industry preferred
  • Coaching and team-building skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and work well in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Strong PC skills (including Microsoft Office)
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational and follow-up skills

What We Offer You:

  • Highly competitive compensation plan.
    • Salary range $50,716 - $66,976 annually determined by a myriad of factors including, but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, and other relevant business considerations.
    • Commission $43,470 - $55,100 annually (based on team performance metrics)
    • Employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonus.
    • 401(k) plan with company match.
  • Full benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance at a highly subsidized rate (some plans are fully paid by Viking).
