About The Role

Jobrapido is seeking a Web Designer for a full-time, remote position focused on designing and improving engaging, user-friendly websites and web applications. In this role, you will turn product requirements, user insights, and brand guidelines into clear and effective digital interfaces. You will create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, visual assets, and reusable design patterns, working closely with product managers, developers, and other designers throughout the design process.

You will help ensure that experiences work consistently across screen sizes and devices, and that layouts support straightforward navigation and meaningful user interactions. The role also includes preparing design files and assets for front-end implementation, documenting design decisions, incorporating feedback, and using available analytics and research to guide improvements. Your work will contribute to a coherent, accessible experience across Jobrapido’s digital products.

Qualifications

Candidates should have experience planning and executing web design projects, including responsive design for modern websites and applications. A strong foundation in graphic design is important, along with the ability to create or adapt icons, illustrations, and other visual assets in support of a consistent interface.

Applicants should be comfortable using design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or comparable software. A foundational understanding of front-end development practices will help you prepare practical handoffs and collaborate effectively with engineers. Knowledge of user experience principles, accessibility standards, and usability best practices is expected.

Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and time-management skills are essential, particularly in a remote setting. A portfolio demonstrating web and interface design work is required. Experience in technology, digital platforms, or SaaS environments is beneficial. A bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related discipline is welcome; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

Design and refine website and application interfaces that support user needs and product objectives. Develop wireframes, mockups, prototypes, design systems, and production-ready visual assets. Collaborate with product managers, developers, and fellow designers to clarify requirements, explore solutions, and deliver designs ready for implementation. Create responsive layouts and consider usability across devices, browsers, and screen sizes.

Maintain consistency with Jobrapido’s brand guidelines and established design patterns. Prepare organized files, specifications, and assets for front-end development, and communicate design decisions clearly to project partners. Review implemented work, identify visual or usability issues, and recommend improvements. Use user feedback, research, and analytics where available to iterate on designs and contribute to ongoing enhancements of the overall user experience.
