Web Designer - HTML, CSS

This is a part-time role (20 hours / week) for a 6-12-month contract

The ideal candidate will have experience crafting email creatives within a WYSIWYG editor.

HTML/CSS Development: Develop visually appealing and responsive email and web landing pages using HTML/CSS, following established design principles and standards.
Email Creative Design: Create engaging email campaigns using a WYSIWYG editor, ensuring compatibility across various email platforms and devices.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with design and marketing teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality design solutions.
Testing and Optimization: Conduct thorough testing of web pages and email creatives to identify and address any layout or functionality issues. Continuously optimize designs for improved performance.
Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of design assets and processes to facilitate seamless project management.

3+ years of web designing experience
Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3, with the ability to write clean and efficient code
Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in design deliverables
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines
Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English

Startup experience
Experience working with WYSIWYG editors for email design (e.g. Mailchimp, Constant Contact)
Bachelor's Degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or equivalent
