Web Designer

You will handle web design operations for J-CAM's crypto investment business, media business, and new business initiatives, including international projects. The role covers web design for crypto-related services in Japan and abroad, long-term design direction for multiple B2C service websites, content creation with cross-functional teams, and data-driven improvements to design, content, and functionality.

Responsibilities

  • Design across the full web domain for crypto-related services in Japan and abroad
  • Develop long-term design direction for multiple B2C service websites
  • Create and deliver content in collaboration with marketers, engineers, and customer support teams
  • Improve design, content, and functionality through data-driven analysis

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in web design
  • Strong user experience and responsive design skills
  • Basic understanding of UI/UX principles
  • In-depth knowledge of Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • 3+ years of communication design experience
  • Experience creating landing pages and banners
  • Ability to propose designs aligned with project objectives
  • Knowledge of current web design trends and technologies
  • Ability to identify issues and suggest solutions independently
  • Logical and structured communication of design concepts
  • Effective communication with stakeholders and team members
  • Fluent Japanese
  • Team management experience
  • Experience managing design teams and project progress
  • Experience using heatmaps and access analytics for design decisions
  • HTML, CSS, and JavaScript coding skills
  • Ability to build websites from scratch
  • Familiarity with WordPress or similar CMS platforms
  • Understanding of marketing and SEO
  • Experience implementing animations and interactive elements such as GSAP and Lottie
  • Business-level English
