About The Role
As a front-end web developer, you will build and improve client websites, primarily using WordPress, HTML and CSS. You will help translate design requirements into responsive, accessible and reliable web pages, balancing visual quality with usability and performance. The role suits an experienced developer or someone moving toward a more front-end-focused position who can work carefully, communicate well and contribute to a collaborative project environment.

Qualifications
Applicants should have at least three years of professional web development experience and strong practical experience building and maintaining WordPress websites. You should be confident using HTML and CSS, creating responsive layouts, and writing clean, well-structured code. A degree in information technology or a related field is required. A strong eye for design and an understanding of user experience principles will help you produce websites that are both attractive and easy to use.
Additional experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Suite or Canva is valuable. Familiarity with on-page SEO best practices, Google Ads campaign setup, and managing social media platforms and content will also be useful when supporting broader client needs. Applicants must be based in London or nearby and able to attend occasional in-person meetings.
Responsibilities
Develop, update and maintain responsive client websites using WordPress, HTML and CSS. Convert design concepts and project requirements into polished pages that provide consistent experiences across devices and browsers. Review websites for functionality, usability, visual consistency and performance, and identify opportunities to resolve issues or improve the end-user experience. Apply sound front-end development practices, maintain clear and organised code, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver projects to agreed requirements and timelines.
You will also contribute your design awareness and knowledge of UX principles to project discussions. Where relevant to client work, you may support on-page SEO, assist with Google Ads campaign setup, and help manage social media platforms and content.
