Builds and maintains in-house web apps using JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML, ASP.NET, VB.NET, and C# for a UK public-sector organization.
Our client, a well-established public service organisation, is currently recruiting a Web Developer to join their development team for a 12-month FTC. The Web Developer will be responsible for the Web Applications developed in-house. Assessing problems, identifying and assessing technological solutions, troubleshooting and solving existing problems working with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities for the Web Developer:
- Developing, Maintaining and enhancing existing and new web applications
- Troubleshooting existing web applications and sites
- Maintenance of existing web applications and sites
- Conversion and upgrade of legacy sites and apps using modern technologies
Skills Required for the Web Developer:
- Proven background within web development
- Strong knowledge of Javascript, jQuery, CSS, HTML, ASP.NET, VB.NET, c#.NET
- Happy to undergo pre-employment checks and vetting
- Strong communication skills
