Web Developer- Entry Level

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development, testing, and deployment of responsive websites and web applications

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant languages

• Support backend integration using PHP, Python, Node.js, or similar technologies

• Work with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, etc.)

• Troubleshoot and debug website issues and fix bugs

• Collaborate with designers and developers to translate UI/UX wireframes into interactive web pages

• Assist with version control using Git or similar tools

• Stay up to date with emerging web technologies and best practices.

• Support Team/Department or Admin as needed.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or relevant experience)

• 0–2 years of experience in web development (internships, school projects, or freelance work acceptable)

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript

• Familiarity with at least one JavaScript framework/library (e.g., React, Vue, Angular is a plus)

• Basic understanding of server-side programming and databases (e.g., PHP, MySQL, Node.js)

• Knowledge of version control systems (preferably Git)

• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team

• Willingness to learn and grow within the role

Nice to Have:

• Experience with API integration (RESTful or GraphQL)

• Understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles

• Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)

• Knowledge of SEO principles and performance optimization
