Web Developer for the East Asian Seas Congress 2027 Website
The PEMSEA Resource Facility (PRF) is looking for a qualified Web Developer (Individual Consultant) to lead the UX/UI implementation and full-stack development of the official website for the East Asian Seas (EAS) Congress 2027. Spanning an 11-month intermittent engagement (estimated 90 billable days) plus 120 days of extended support, this multi-phase project is central to building a secure, fully responsive WordPress site that drives delegate engagement, supports online registration and abstract management, powers live event coverage in Indonesia, and serves as a lasting post-congress digital repository.
Key responsibilities include translating provided wireframes and visual assets into intuitive digital layouts across desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms; executing a 5-phase rollout from an initial teaser site in December 2026 to live event streaming and post-congress archives; integrating GA4 analytics, SSL security, and GDPR compliance; setting up a multi-option online registration and payment gateway; and delivering documentation along with a dedicated training session for PRF staff.
