About the role
What you’ll do
- Build and ship pages, components, and flows in our Next.js 15 (App Router) dashboard using TypeScript and Tailwind v4.
- Turn designs and written specs into working UI, including responsive behavior and light/dark themes.
- Connect the frontend to our REST API: fetch and mutate data through Server Components and Server Actions, and handle loading, empty, and error states properly.
- Work on live views that stream progress over server-sent events, so a running test updates on screen without a refresh.
- Fix reported UI bugs: layout overflow, broken alignment, forms that lose input, dark-mode contrast, keyboard and focus problems.
What we’re looking for
- Practical React experience: components, props, hooks, conditional rendering, lists, and form handling.
- Some TypeScript, at least enough to read typed code and add basic types and interfaces.
- Git fundamentals: branch, commit, push, open a pull request, resolve a merge conflict.
- Able to read an existing codebase and follow its established patterns rather than adding a parallel approach.
- Attention to visual detail: spacing, alignment, states, and what the screen shows before data arrives.
Nice to have
- Next.js specifically, especially the App Router, Server Components, or Server Actions.
- Backend or API awareness: REST, Node.js, Postgres, or Prisma.
- Data visualization work with charts, tables, or dashboards.
- Accessibility basics: semantic HTML, focus management, and sensible ARIA use.
