Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and optimize websites using modern web technologies
Create responsive, user-friendly websites from design mockups
Customize and extend WordPress functionality through custom themes and plugins
Collaborate with the marketing team to implement SEO best practices
Ensure websites are optimized for performance, accessibility, and mobile devices
Manage website hosting environments and troubleshoot technical issues
Stay current with emerging web technologies and industry trends
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Expertise
3+ years of professional web development experience. Wordpress desired.
Strong proficiency in: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
3+ years of WordPress expertise: Custom theme development, plugin customization, hooks/filters
PHP development: Object-oriented programming and WordPress customization
Database management: MySQL query optimization and database design
Version control: Git workflow and collaborative development
Responsive design: Cross-browser compatibility and mobile-first approach
Preferred Technical Skills
Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React.js or Angular.js)
Azure cloud platform: Experience with Azure App Services and Apache server configuration
API integration and RESTful web services
Performance optimization and caching strategies
Design & SEO Knowledge
Design collaboration tools: Figma, Framer, Zeplin, or similar
SEO fundamentals: On-page and technical SEO implementation
Understanding of UX/UI principles and web accessibility standards
Soft Skills
Project management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
Attention to detail: Meticulous approach to code quality and testing
