Web Developer (PHP/Laravel)

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain internal web applications using PHP 8+ and Laravel.

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs for internal systems and third-party integrations.

• Develop basic frontend components using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Manage MySQL/PostgreSQL, including complex queries, joins, indexing, and basic optimization.

• Implement Laravel features such as Queues, Jobs, Events, Form Requests, and API Resources.

• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis across application layers.

• Collaborate with System Analyst, QA, and Infrastructure teams to deliver reliable solutions.

• Apply clean coding practices, documentation, Git workflow, and code reviews.

• Support application deployment and configuration in Linux environments.

• Contribute to application improvement, refactoring, and performance optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Informatics Engineering, or related field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Web Developer, preferably in product or internal business applications.

• Strong programming logic and analytical problem-solving skills.

• Strong experience with PHP 8+ and Laravel.

• Good understanding of REST API, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development.

• Proficient in Git and comfortable with MySQL/PostgreSQL.

• Familiar with Linux, SSH, environment configuration, and file permissions.

• Able to develop clean, maintainable, and well-structured code.

• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Vue.js, React, or Next.js.

• Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).

• Experience with Java, microservices, or NoSQL.

• Understanding of OWASP, RBAC, secure file upload, and application security.

• Experience optimizing Laravel applications, including caching and N+1 query optimization.
