Job Summary Spark Systems seeks a Web Developer passionate about building high-performance, scalable web applications for a low-latency electronic trading platform, solving complex technical challenges, and collaborating across teams to deliver impactful trading solutions. Responsibilities Build and enhance responsive, scalable web applications for a low-latency electronic trading platform to support global FX markets Develop maintainable frontend and non-UI components that improve platform stability and user experience Integrate REST APIs and real-time data streams using WebSocket to enable seamless data flow and execution Collaborate closely with Product, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality features from design through production release Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement to ensure production-quality code Investigate performance bottlenecks and optimize application responsiveness and scalability for end users Take ownership of feature development, demonstrating initiative and accountability throughout the software lifecycle Preferred competencies and qualifications Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript for building dynamic web applications Experience with React.js to create interactive user interfaces Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 for responsive design implementation Familiarity with REST APIs and WebSocket protocols for real-time data integration Use of Redux Toolkit or other state management libraries to manage application state effectively Competence in Git version control and browser developer tools for debugging and collaboration Problem-solving and debugging skills applied to complex technical challenges in a fast-paced environment Bonus skills include Java, Canvas API, Web Workers, Jenkins, Maven, monorepo environments, and experience with financial markets or trading platforms Why Join Spark Systems Work on mission-critical technology used in global financial markets Solve real-time, high-performance engineering challenges Join a collaborative and innovative engineering culture Learn from experienced professionals in FinTech and Capital Markets Have a direct impact on product development and client success Application Requirements Submit your CV/Resume Provide GitHub profile (if available) Share portfolio or project links Include examples of web applications you have built
