Web Developer (Summer Student)
Summary
A remote summer student web developer builds web-based software to specification for a child-care-focused human services organization — participating in design sessions, handling change requests through development and testing, reporting progress daily, and taking part in peer code reviews. The stack leans Microsoft: ORM-based data access (Entity Framework/NHibernate), Azure DevOps/TFS, and CI/CD
This is a remote position.

Requirements
Desired Experience
· Minimum of two years of related experience in a Software Development or Testing;
· Good verbal and writing communication skills
· Ability to work in fast-paced agile environment and collaborative team
· Desired experience working with remote development and testing teams
· Experience or desire to learn with Team Foundation Server.
· Positive attitude and ability to work within a team environment
· Customer focused attitude with a commitment to superior, high quality service and customer satisfaction
· Working towards a University and/or a College Degree in a related field
Competencies and Skills
- Basic understanding of OOP principles
- Basic understanding of Entity Framework, NHibernate or another ORM technology
- Basic understanding of relational databases concepts
- Understanding microservice architecture is a plus
- Experience working with Azure DevOps is a plus
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines is a plus
