Tutearn Corp., a growing EdTech startup specializing in digital learning solutions and mobile applications, is looking for a skilled, creative, and results-driven Web Developer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing responsive, secure, and high-performing web applications that support our digital learning platform.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain responsive websites and web applications.
- Develop and optimize front-end and back-end functionalities.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA Engineers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Integrate APIs, databases, and third-party services into web applications.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
- Ensure websites and applications are responsive, secure, scalable, and compatible across browsers and devices.
- Maintain clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in system testing, code reviews, deployment, and continuous application improvements.
- Implement website optimization techniques to improve speed, performance, and user experience.
- Support the continuous development and enhancement of Tutearn's EdTech platform.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in web development or a related software development role.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web development practices.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React.js, Next.js, Vue.js, or Angular.
- Familiarity with back-end technologies such as Node.js, PHP, Laravel, or Python.
- Knowledge of relational or NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
- Proficiency in Git, GitHub, or other version control systems.
- Understanding of responsive design, website security, performance optimization, and debugging.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
