Summary
Full-stack web engineer at The Economist Group building and improving web applications: responsive React frontends, Node.js APIs and backend services, deployed on AWS with testing and CI/CD. In this role you will contribute to building and improving our web applications across frontend and backend, delivering scalable features that enhance user experiences. You will collaborate with engineers, product managers and designers in a remote-first environment. You’ll build responsive UI with React, implement APIs and backend services, and participate in code reviews, testing and CI/CD. You’ll work with cloud services (AWS) to deploy and operate applications and help improve performance and reliability. - Build and maintain web applications across frontend and backend systems
- Develop responsive and accessible user interfaces using modern frameworks such as React
