Web3 Backend Engineer

Summary

Design and build backend systems for Web3 products, including on-chain data pipelines, multi-chain APIs, and smart-contract interaction layers using Go and distributed infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Lead backend architecture design and development for Web3 products including aggregators, data services, and wallet management.
  • Develop on-chain data scraping, parsing, and structured storage mechanisms for mainstream chains.
  • Design and implement high-performance APIs using RESTful, gRPC, and WebSocket protocols.
  • Develop interaction modules between off-chain services and smart contracts, handling multi‑chain event aggregation and transaction routing.
  • Design microservices architecture and implement containerized deployment using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Optimize database (SQL/NoSQL), caching (Redis), and message queue (Kafka) solutions to ensure high availability.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of backend development experience.
  • 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Golang, including proficiency in Goroutines, Channels, and frameworks like Gin, Go‑zero, or Gorm.
  • 2+ years of Web3 development experience with a deep understanding of blockchain principles and chain interaction mechanisms.
  • Experience with distributed systems, including message queues (Kafka), distributed locks, and circuit breaking/rate limiting.
  • Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL database optimization and Redis cache design.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation workflows.
