Project context
The webMethods BPM Engineer will be a hands-on technical specialist responsible for implementing, maintaining, and supporting business process solutions built on the webMethods BPM stack. The role requires collaboration with business and IT stakeholders to enhance the quality, reliability, and operability of BPM solutions.
Goals and Deliverables
Key Responsibilities
BPM Solution Development
- Design, develop, and maintain BPM process solutions using webMethods BPM/Process Engine, Task Engine, My webMethods Server, CAF, and Optimize.
- Develop supporting services on Integration Server and integrate with messaging via Universal Messaging as needed.
- Build, test, and deploy services following established integration standards and best practices.
- Participate in code and design reviews, ensuring quality and compliance with technical guidelines.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate functional requirements into reliable technical solutions.
Platform Support
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues on the webMethods BPM platform.
- Support environment setup, platform installation, and configuration activities.
- Monitor integration flows, investigate incidents, and implement fixes in a timely manner.
- Assess and document operational readiness including deployment procedures, monitoring setup, and rollback plans.
