Project context
The webMethods Engineer will design, implement, and oversee integration solutions across the organization, with a focus on Software AG webMethods platforms and SAP Integration Suite. The role ensures seamless, secure, and scalable integration of business applications, supporting digital transformation and business process optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture:
Design end-to-end integration architectures using the webMethods platform (B2B, MFT, and BPMS) and provide upgrade support for webMethods.
Develop and evolve integration patterns, standards, and best practices for connecting applications and business services.
Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture principles.
Project Delivery (Upgrade Validation):
Work with delivery managers to ensure solutions comply with Integration Design Guidelines.
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Liaise with current managed services and provide support for the upgrade methodology and governance.
Develop integrations on webMethods platform.
Oversee and review technical deliverables, ensuring quality and compliance with standards.
Platform Expertise:
Act as the subject matter expert for webMethods platforms.
Evaluate new features, tools, and technologies to enhance integration capabilities.
Assess and document operational readiness, including deployment, monitoring, and failover capabilities.
Key Requirements
- Subject matter expertise for webMethods platforms.
- Strong expertise and proven track record in development and support of B2B/MFT integrations.
- Proficient in creating technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
- Ability to design and execute functional, performance, and stability tests; experience with monitoring and logging tools.
- Hands-on experience with webMethods suite, including recent upgrade projects.
- Strong analytical skills to assess risk, effort, and value of platform choices.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and reporting.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Full English proficiency.

Other Details
This is a project-based role with a planned start date of 28/07/2026, and an expected duration of one month. Remote work arrangements may be available.
