Website Support Specialist
About the role
This role involves proactive support and monitoring of WordPress and Shopify websites, alongside managing support requests and maintenance projects.
Key responsibilities
WordPress and Shopify core and plug-in updates
Website security monitoring and malware scanning
Site backups and uptime status monitoring
Search index fail and SEO technical issue monitoring
Visual and click checks of critical sections and interfaces
Server PHP updates, broken link checks, and hosting renewals
Assistance with content updates
Manage left navigation filters and menu structure on sites
Troubleshooting bug reports and template modifications
Website analytics tech support requests
About you
4–7 years of experience in WordPress and Shopify website management and support
Strong knowledge of WordPress, page builders, WooCommerce, Shopify themes/Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP
Experience with website maintenance, troubleshooting, staging, Git workflows, GA4, and Google Search Console
Strong communication, problem-solving, and client support skills
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
Proactive and detail-oriented, with the initiative to proofread and validate English and French website content and postings
Amenable to work Irish Standard Time
