Wedding & Event Decoration Intern

About Us
Alangkaar (Raja's Catering & Alangkaar Weddings) designs and builds decor for Indian weddings and large events — stages, backdrops, floral, mandaps/dais, and thematic styling. You'll learn the craft on real builds, from concept to teardown.

What You'll Do
- Assist with wedding/event decor setup and teardown on the ground
- Support decor design work — moodboards, colour themes, styling details
- Help with procurement: sourcing materials, flowers, and props, and comparing suppliers
- Maintain decor inventory and prep items before events
- Work alongside our design team on creative concepts for upcoming weddings

What We're Looking For
- Detail-oriented with an eye for design and aesthetics
- Hands-on and practical — comfortable with physical setup work
- Interest in floral styling, design, or crafts is a big plus (design students welcome)
- Available on weekends/early mornings for setups (off-in-lieu given)
- Students and fresh graduates are welcome to apply

What You'll Get
- Internship of 3 to 6 months, with possibility of extension or full-time conversion
- Monthly allowance of $700 to $1,000
- On-the-ground experience in wedding decoration and event design, with mentorship from experienced decor designers
- Exposure to procurement, budgeting, and supplier management
- CPF contributions for eligible employees
