Job Title: CNC Machinist (Weekend Shift)

Location: Dunlap, TN 37327

Shift: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday | 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM

Work Hours: Work 36 hours, get paid for 40!

Position Functions:

• Program, set up, and operate multiple types of production machines such as CNC mills, drill presses, lathes, routers, etc.
• Machine parts and compare to templates for accuracy.
• Read and interpret detailed blueprints and drawings.
• Use micrometers, calipers, and various gauges for precise measurements.
• Program machines using G-code.
• Maintain accurate data in the ERP system.
• Meet company standard times and individual productivity goals.
• Fulfill output requirements while minimizing scrap levels.

Educational Level for Position:

• High School Diploma required.
• CNC Certificate preferred.

Special Skills / Qualifications Needed:

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities effectively.
• Must be able to perform quality control (QC) on own work.
• Ability to perform tasks efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
• Capable of handling tasks requiring detailed and precise actions and manipulations.
• Proficiency with both metric and standard unit measurement systems.
• Proficient in utilizing G-code and CAD/CAM software.
• Proven knowledge of machine tooling.
• Ability to safely lift at least 50 pounds.
