Location: North Reading, MA
Pay Rate: $22.40/hour
Securitas USA is hiring Part-Time Weekend Security Officers. We have weekend positions available for reliable, professional individuals looking for consistent part-time work.
As a Security Officer, you’ll help maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and the property. Responsibilities include conducting patrols, monitoring surveillance systems, responding to incidents, and providing a professional security presence throughout your shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the property
- Monitor surveillance cameras and access control systems
- Respond to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations
- Enforce site rules and access control procedures
- Complete accurate reports of daily activities and incidents
- Conduct security checks of doors, windows, gates, and equipment
- Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors
- Work with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred
- Ability to work weekends and overnight shifts
- Strong observation and communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
- Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic
