Bender CCP is looking for an experienced Welder to join our Vernon team! We specialize in repairing, refurbishing, and machining engineered industrial equipment used in industries such as power generation, oil and gas, mining, and manufacturing.

What You'll Do

• Perform MIG, TIG, and Flux-Core welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and various alloys.

• Fit, fabricate, and weld metal components to precise specifications.

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols.

• Complete high-quality welds in multiple positions, including pipe and structural applications.

• Inspect welds and finished components for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity.

• Use shop tools and equipment, including grinders, calipers, weld positioners, and lifting devices.

• Work with machinists, mechanics, and other team members to support equipment repairs and refurbishment.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

What We're Looking For

• At least 5 years of welding experience in heavy industrial, manufacturing, fabrication, or a related environment.

• Hands-on experience with MIG, TIG, and Flux-Core welding.

• Ability to successfully pass a 6G weld test.

• Strong blueprint-reading skills and the ability to interpret welding symbols.

• Experience working with different metals, alloys, and precision components.

• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.

• Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.

Experience with submerged arc welding (SAW) is a plus.

Schedule

Second shift: 2:30 PM–11:00 PM. Overtime may be required based on business needs.
