Welder

JOB SUMMARY

The Welder is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components used in security alarm installations and protective enclosures. This role ensures the durability, precision, and quality of welded structures that support security systems, working closely with engineering and installation teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Set up welding equipment and select proper materials based on specifications

· Perform MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding on steel, aluminum, or other metals

· Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders

· Inspect welds for accuracy and integrity using visual and testing methods

· Maintain welding equipment and tools in safe working conditions

· Follow company safety protocols and OSHA guidelines

· Document work performed and report deviations or material issues

· Collaborate with fabrication, engineering, or field teams as needed
