About the role

Description

Areajob Spain ETT, a division of the Areajob Group oriented towards temporary work and talent management, is starting a selection process for a Welder-Assembler for a company located in the Castellbisbal area.

What you'll do

Cutting and welding of metals, mainly iron and stainless steel.

Welding of mechanical structures and different metallic components.

Interpretation of blueprints, prototypes, measurements, and technical specifications.

Preparation of parts using angle grinders and other tools.

Alignment and clamping of components using clamps, rulers, and other tools.

Welding of components using manual welding equipment.

Handling of workshop machinery such as folding machines, cutting equipment, band saws, shears, etc.

Assembly of previously welded structures.

Assembly of profiles that make up acoustic panels and filling with rock wool.

Precise assembly of components following the established specifications.

Maintenance and correct condition of work equipment and tools.

Compliance with safety regulations and occupational risk prevention.

All functions will be performed under the supervision of the factory/workshop manager.

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a welder and/or assembler.

Knowledge of welding and experience working mainly with iron and stainless steel.

Ability to interpret blueprints, prototypes, measurements, and technical specifications.

Experience in the assembly of metal structures

Handling of workshop machinery: folding machines, band saws, shears, cutting equipment, etc.

Handling of hand and power tools.

Knowledge of different types of metals and their properties.

Responsible, precise person with the ability to work in a team.

Commitment to safety and occupational risk prevention regulations.
