Performs manual metal welding, machining, and finishing tasks to fabricate and repair metal parts according to engineering drawings and safety standards.
Job Description
1. Independently complete various metal welding operations, including electric welding, according to engineering drawings and process requirements, ensuring welds are smooth, strong, free of porosity and cracks, and meet workpiece quality standards.
2. Responsible for the welding, assembly, forming, repair, and structural welding of various metal parts, completing the entire process of workpiece welding, grinding, polishing, deburring, straightening, and trimming.
3. Proficient in operating a conventional manual lathe, completing precision machining processes such as workpiece turning, external turning, internal turning, threading, grooving, cutting, and chamfering.
4. Responsible for workpiece blanking, clamping, processing, trimming, and sorting, properly distinguishing between semi-finished and finished products to prevent mixed materials and defective products from leaving the site.
5. Daily inspection, cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance of lathes, welding equipment, tools, and gas cylinder lines; promptly report any equipment abnormalities.
6. Strictly adhere to workshop safety operating procedures, wear personal protective equipment correctly, prevent unauthorized operations, and ensure production safety.
7. Assist in completing workpiece rework, resizing, grinding, and correction; cooperate with quality inspectors to complete quality checks.
8. Cooperate with the supervisor to complete daily tasks such as production records, workpiece counting, and output handover.
Requirements:
1. Able to understand basic machining drawings, part dimension markings, and process requirements; able to independently complete machining and welding operations based on drawings.
2. Familiar with the processing characteristics of common metal materials; understand the entire process flow including welding forming, weld treatment, grinding and polishing, deburring, and workpiece correction.
3. Hardworking, conscientious, and able to endure hardship; obey the factory supervisor's production arrangements and abide by workshop rules and regulations.
