WELDER-FABRICATOR

Summary

This position is responsible for producing and assembling stainless steel components, structures, and equipment using welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools in accordance with blueprints, as well as employer and customer specifications. The Welder/Fabricator also sets up, operates, and maintains welding equipment to ensure precise and high-quality fabrication work.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate projects according to specifications and under the direction of Lead and Senior Lead Welders/Fabricators, as well as the Production Manager.
• Ensure all projects are completed accurately and meet GEM Equipment’s quality standards.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with lead workers and supervisors to ensure the accuracy and quality of the final product.
• Possess and maintain all required basic tools as listed on the company tool list.
• Possess and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including:
  • Steel-toed boots
  • Safety glasses
• Perform other duties as assigned.
