POSITION DESCRIPTION
This is a skilled level position based at the Taylor Shellfish Fabrication Shop in Shelton, WA and will be responsible for cutting and fitting of parts according to drawings, welding aluminum, steel and stainless alloys
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Involved in the construction and repair of various equipment built and operated by Taylor Shellfish
- Lay out, position, align, and fit components together using hand tools and tables
- Bolts, clamps, tacks welds parts to secure in position for welding according to blueprints, engineering sketches and welding procedures specifications
- Repairs products and equipment by dismantling, cutting, gouging, grinding, straightening, reshaping, and or re-welding as needed
- Must always follow all safety measured before welding
- Help in keeping the shop a safe and efficient work area
