Welder - Field Maintenance Division

Job Summary:

This position will perform the functions of a skilled welder. They will work from structure plans to weld various parts.

Job Duties:

• Measure, cut, and join appropriate metals to specifications
• Use grinder to smooth and clean as appropriate
• Inspect work and fill/repair as necessary
• Test the strength of each joint during and after project completion
• Identify hazards, defects and needs for adjustments to ensure compliance with applicable codes, laws, working practices, and health and safety
• Clean and maintain all equipment and tools and keep work areas neat

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of MIG welding criteria per QA and passing our skills test
• Operate grinders and torches
• Excellent stamina, strength and dexterity
• Good time-management skills
• Sound understanding of safety rules, regulations, and safe job procedures
• Must be able to assist in other areas as needed and follow all quality procedures
