Welder/Fitter

American Bin & Conveyor is looking for Fabrication Welder/Fitters to join our 1st-shift manufacturing team in Burlington, Wisconsin. Our Welder/Fitters work from fabrication drawings to layout, fit and weld structural steel components used in custom conveyors, structures and bulk material handling equipment. This is a multi-skilled fabrication position requiring attention to detail, strong measuring skills and the ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and blueprints.
• Measure, layout, fit and tack steel components.
• Weld in flat, vertical and overhead positions to produce completed assemblies according to fabrication drawings.
• Use grinders, torches and common fabrication tools.
• Inspect work for proper fit, dimensions, weld quality and defects.
• Safely move and position steel components and fabricated assemblies.
• Follow company safety policies, quality requirements and safe work practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
