WELDER

WE ARE HIRING FOR TWO LOCATIONS: MONROE, MI & TEMPERANCE, MI.

Position Summary: The Welder will fabricate, assemble, repair, and install metal components and structures according to blueprints, work orders, and safety standards. This role requires attention to detail, technical skills, and a strong commitment to quality and workplace safety.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, weld symbols and work orders.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG, and TIG machines as required.
• Measure, cut, fit, and weld metal components using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Inspect completed welds and assemblies for accuracy, strength, and overall quality.
• Use grinders, saws, drills, and other hand or power tools to prepare and finish materials.
• Identify welding defects and make necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work areas in clean and safe condition.
• Follow all company policies, industry standards, and applicable health and safety regulations.
• Complete production records, inspection reports, and other required documentation.
• Collaborate with supervisors, fabricators, engineers, and other team members to complete projects.
