REPORTS TO: Fleet Maintenance/Facilities Manager
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
Position Summary:
The Welder, under direction of the Fleet Maintenance/Facilities Manager, with the use of welding machines and metals to repair sanitation containers while complying with all company and OSHA standards.
Essential Functions:
- Assemble and repair metal structures
- Fabricate according to blueprints
- Examine structures for metal defects
- Complete light maintenance on metal structures, as needed
- Completing repairs to fleet vehicles such as metal floor repair/replacement, metal rails, steel body fabrication and hydraulic cylinder replacement
