Summary

Perform MIG/MAG welding on ship hull components in a Helsinki shipyard, following EN ISO 9606-1 standards and shipyard safety procedures.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Welding hull blocks, panels, stiffeners & double-bottom structures

  • Follow WPS, drawings & welding symbols

  • Ensure weld quality meets shipyard & class standards

  • Coordinate with QC inspectors & supervisors

  • Follow shipyard safety & production procedures


Requirements

CERTIFICATION DETAILS

  • Standard: EN ISO 9606-1

  • Issuing Body: Bureau Veritas / DNV / Inspecta / equivalent

  • Test Piece: Shipbuilding type (block / plate)

  • Certificate: Must be valid



Mandatory Certification: EN ISO 9606-1
Welding Processes:


  • MIG / MAG (135–138)Mandatory

  • TIG (141)Preferred (optional)

Materials:

  • Carbon Steel (FE)

  • Stainless Steel (SS)

  • Aluminum (AL)


Positions: PA / PB / PC / PF / PE
Thickness Range: 3–40 mm (MIG/MAG)
TIG (if available): 2–12 mm
