WELDING SUPERVISOR
Responsibilities:
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings, fabrication standards, and welding procedures.
- Familiar with common tools: MIG/TIG/Stick welding, grinder, gas cutter, plasma cutter, slip roller & etc.
- Ensure proper use of welding equipment, materials, and consumables according to specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of welder qualifications, weld logs, and inspection reports.
- Supervise and coordinate welding activities at site or workshop to ensure compliance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and project drawings
- Monitor welder performance and workmanship to meet quality and safety standards.
- Enforce workplace safety procedures, especially related to hot work and confined spaces.
- Support training and qualification of welders in line with company and industry standards.
- Plan daily work schedules and manpower assignments to meet production targets.
Requirements:
- Min. 0-2 years Mechanical work experience
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
