Well-funded Danish start-up seeks Firmware Engineers.

Open 37d

FIRMWARE ENGINEER · Copenhagen · Full-time

We are building a large-scale 3D printer to manufacture flying cars and satellites. Small team, well-funded, prototype already works. Your job is to make the firmware and control code that runs robust enough to ship.

What you'll actually do

  • Own the firmware for a robotic arm on an XY gantry with a pellet extruder on the end. Real-time motion, sensors, safety.

  • Ship code that is reviewed and proven step by step, so nothing goes out that hasn't been checked.

  • Support our slicing and G-code pipeline. We already have someone driving that; you'll partner with them to make it better.

  • See your code running, printing actual flying machines and space components.

You should be able to

  • Write robust, reliable embedded code, and prove it works before it ships.

  • Show a GitHub history you've kept up regularly. We want to see how you work.

  • Bring real robotics experience, ideally motion control, kinematics, gantries, or extrusion.

  • Communicate clearly. This is non-negotiable on a small team.

  • Use agentic AI tools to do in a day what others take a week to do, without losing the judgment to know when the output is wrong.

What you get

  • Highly competitive salary.

  • 5+ weeks paid vacation, flexible hours.

  • Full relocation support.

  • Talented, motivated, intense, and interesting coworkers.

  • A front-row seat to hardware that helps launch the next generation of flight and space.

Share your GitHub and any robotics or firmware projects (videos, pictures, repos, writeups). Contact us:
