Summary

Oversee quality in semiconductor wet process manufacturing by tracking defects, leading root-cause fixes, and ensuring compliance with engineering and production teams.

The WETS Department Quality Champion is responsible for supporting and strengthening quality performance within the wet process area. The role drives quality performance in the wet module by driving issue containment, root cause analysis, corrective actions and continuous improvement to ensure stable and compliant manufacturing operations.

The role works closely with Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Maintenance, Production and Central Quality teams to identify risks, resolve quality issues, and prevent recurrence.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitor quality performance and identify trends, defects and non-conformities.
  • Drive improvement actions to reduce defects, improve process stability, and prevent recurrence.
  • Support containment, root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.
  • Work with Process Engineering, Equipment, Maintenance, Production and Central Quality teams to resolve issues.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Support audits, documentation, traceability and quality record accuracy.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical/Electronics, Chemical, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, preferably in WET Clean or WET Etch.
  • Familiarity with quality systems such as SPC, FMEA, 8D, CAPA, Maestria, change management, nonconformance management and audit management.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
