White Hawk-Food and Beverage Assistant Manager (Restaurant and Event)

White Hawk Country Club is looking for a Food and Beverage Assistant Manager to join our team. We are looking for someone who is able to work 4-5 shifts per week including weekends and closing shifts.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist and oversee all areas of the restaurant and banquet facility while adhering to company standards and service levels.
  • Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of dining areas. Responsible for ensuring these are in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Maintain professional facility image, including restaurant and event facility appearance, cleanliness, and uniform standards.
  • Guarantee positive guest service in all areas of White Hawk Country Club.
  • Respond to compliments (and complaints, depending on severity, taking appropriate action to ensure a return guest).
  • Ensure safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents.
  • Responsible for managing shifts which include daily decision making, scheduling, product presentation, and cleanliness.
  • Responsible for motivating staff to work as a team to ensure that service meets expectations.
  • Responsible for handling the pressures of simultaneously coordinating a wide range of activities while recommending appropriate solutions to restaurant or event needs.
  • Responsible for communicating well with a diverse staff while delegating workload.
  • Maintain a favorable working relationship with all company employees to promote a cooperative working climate which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
  • Willingness and ability to perform all functions at the restaurant/event level.
  • Ability to work with hot, cold, and hazardous materials and equipment as well as operate phones, computers, copiers and other office equipment.
  • Must possess a strong ability to lead in times of high business volume and be able to adjust direction accordingly.
  • Responsible for opening and closing the building and event spaces

Typical work week hours vary (average hours during peak season 30-35/wk - Based on agreed upon pay structure) and may vary if required to fill in for his/her employees if needs arise.
