We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support Project Managers overseeing multiple construction projects across condominium buildings in and around Downtown Montreal. Stakeholder communication and customer service are key components of this role.
Role, Responsibilities and Activities
Coordinate and assist with the following:
Water damage and insurance files
Insurance subrogation processes
On-site evaluation of required work
Support Project Managers with updates, documentation, and administrative tasks
Assist in the coordination and preparation of RFPs
Support scheduling and coordination of work and trades
Participate in on-site supervision of ongoing projects
Assist in managing project schedules, budgets, and final approvals
Collaborate with property managers, assistant property managers, and building maintenance teams
Communicate regularly with all stakeholders to ensure transparency throughout the project lifecycle
Maintain flexibility in working hours, including availability for emergencies outside regular business hours and weekends.
Desired Qualifications
Excellent command of French and English (oral and written); English is required to serve English-speaking clients
Minimum of 1 year of experience in project coordination or construction-related work
CAPM® or PMP® certification is preferred
Experience in customer service is considered an asset
Strong ability to learn and adapt to new systems and software
Team player with the ability to work independently
Strong leadership and communication skills
Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented
Ability to manage stress effectively and maintain composure in fast-paced environments
Positive and professional attitude
Proficient with computers and standard office software
Valid driver’s license; regular site visits are required
Knowledge of Google Workspace and Upperbee is considered an asset
Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets is an asset
