As a Window Fitter, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining windows in residential and commercial properties, ensuring precision and quality in every project. Key Responsibilities
- Install and fit different types of windows including UPVC, aluminum, and wooden frames.
- Remove old or damaged windows and prepare spaces for new installation.
- Inspect windows for defects, and carry out repairs or replacements as needed.
- Ensure all installations meet company quality standards and comply with safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to coordinate project schedules.
- Maintain all tools and equipment in good working order.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Window Fitter or in a related field.
- Strong understanding of window installation processes and materials.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and installation instructions.
- Excellent manual skills and physical capability for handling equipment and materials.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Capacity to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driving license and reliable transportation.
- Awareness of health and safety standards in construction and installation work.
