Windows Graphics Software Engineer
Summary
Develop Direct3D drivers for GPUs, ensuring high performance and quality while collaborating with hardware teams and Microsoft on next-gen APIs and OS support.
Salary: £45,000 - 85,000 per year
Requirements:- Knowledge of Direct3D or an equivalent 3D API
- Knowledge of graphics compilers is preferred
- Background in GPU driver design and development
- Experience programming in C/C++
- Understanding of computer architecture, including CPU, cache, MMU, and memory
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Positive attitude
- Experience working in a Scrum development team is a plus
- Experience working in an international company is a plus
- Develop Direct3D drivers for our current and next generation GPUs
- Ensure our Direct3D drivers have high quality and strong performance
- Work with our hardware teams to ensure performant Direct3D support for current and future versions of the Direct3D API
- Support our customers and their partners in bringing new products to market
- Collaborate with our hardware team on next-generation GPU development
- Work directly with our customers to help them obtain maximum performance from their platforms
- Participate in advanced development with Microsoft on next-generation operating systems
