About the Opportunity
We are looking for a skilled Windows Support Engineer (Infrastructure Support) to join a well-established Multinational Corporation (MNC) in Petaling Jaya.
This role offers a long-term direct contract with an MNC, with potential conversion to permanent employment based on performance and business requirements.
Important: This position is exclusively open to Malaysian citizens who can communicate effectively in Mandarin.
Key Responsibilities
Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments.
Provide technical support for Windows operating systems and enterprise infrastructure.
Install, configure, and support VMware or Hyper-V virtualization platforms.
Support cloud environments, including AWS or Microsoft Azure.
Troubleshoot networking issues involving DNS, DHCP, and connectivity.
Support storage technologies such as NAS, SAN, RAID, and NFS.
Perform system monitoring, log analysis, and performance troubleshooting.
Support backup, recovery, and data protection activities.
Collaborate with infrastructure teams to resolve technical issues.
Mandatory Requirements
Malaysian citizenship is mandatory.
Mandarin communication skills are mandatory.
Strong hands-on experience in Windows Server administration and troubleshooting.
Experience with VMware or Hyper-V.
Experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure.
Good understanding of DNS, DHCP, and networking troubleshooting.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of NAS, SAN, RAID, and NFS.
Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Added Advantages
Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
Microsoft, AWS, Azure, CCNA, or CCNP certifications.
Experience with Commvault or other backup solutions.
Experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure.
