Wintel Infrastructure Administrator/ Architect
Responsibilities:
- Provide24x7 on-call support for Wintel infrastructure and Microsoft 365 services across multiple sites.
- Act as the primary Level 3 escalation point for infrastructure related incidents and service requests.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions for major incidents.
- Administer enterprise Active Directory Forest environments with multiple domains and sub-domains.
- Troubleshoot Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and replication related issues.
- Implement, configure and administer Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM) environments.
- Design, implement and maintain VMware vSphere Foundation (VVF) 9.x and vCenter 7.X infrastructure including vCenter Server, ESXi hosts, clusters, HA, DRS, Datastores and vMotion.
- Perform VMware lifecycle management, upgrades, patching, migrations and disaster recovery activities.
- Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams and OneDrive.
- Administer Microsoft 365 Defender, email security, SPF, DKIM and DMARC configurations.
- Configure, administer and troubleshoot Citrix ADC and Citrix Virtual Apps environments.
- Administer and maintain enterprise Antivirus and Endpoint Security solutions.
- Configure and maintain Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions and policies.
- Administer and maintain Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Certificate Services and certificate lifecycle management.
- Create, configure and maintain Group Policy Objects (GPO) for operational, security and compliance requirements.
- Manage Windows Failover Clusters supporting SQL and application environments.
- Administer Print Servers and enterprise file sharing services.
- Manage Windows Server upgrades, migrations, patching and lifecycle management.
- Manage and maintain enterprise datacentre infrastructure including physical Dell PowerEdge servers and infrastructure appliances.
- Perform server hardware troubleshooting, firmware upgrades, hardware refresh and lifecycle management activities.
- Perform datacentre operations, disaster recovery testing, failover exercises and infrastructure maintenance activities.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell automation scripts to improve operational efficiency and reporting.
- Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, architecture diagrams and operational standards.
- Provide technical guidance, knowledge transfer and support to L1/L2 support teams.
- Support End User Computing Team when any issues are escalated and need support for L2/L3.
Requirement:
- Good understanding of Microsoft 365 Defender, SPF, DKIM and DMARC.
- Experience managing Dell PowerEdge Servers, firmware upgrades and hardware lifecycle management.
- Experience in Disaster Recovery (DR), High Availability (HA) and Datacentre Operations.
Strong hands-on experience in:
- Windows Server Administration (2008/2012/2016/2019/2022/2025).
- Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
- VMware vCenter Server and ESXi Administration.
- VMware HA, DRS, vMotion and Cluster Management.
- Citrix ADC and Citrix Virtual Apps Administration.
- Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM).
- Microsoft Office 365 Administration including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams and OneDrive.
- Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Certificate Services.
- Windows Failover Clustering.
- Windows Print Server Administration and Troubleshooting.
- Managing the Enterprise file server permission management.
- Enterprise Antivirus Administration and Endpoint Security Management.
- Datacentre Infrastructure and Physical Server Administration.
- Knowledge of Windows Server patch management and lifecycle management.
- PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Administration.
