Winter Fun Park Operations Manager

Rocking Horse Ranch Resort is seeking an energetic, highly motivated, and skilled individual to lead our Winter Fun Park and Recreation operations! This position will oversee all aspects of operations of our seasonal Ski Hill, Ski Shop, Snow Tubing, and Ice Skating facilities. The Winter Fun Park Operations Manager will work closely with the Aquatics and Recreation leadership team to ensure smooth operations between all resort recreation facilities, and will work alongside the Maintenance and Grounds teams to assist with Snow Making and Grooming operations. This is a full time, year round/permanent position, and the Winter Fun Park operates from December through March. Other seasonal Recreation Facilities include: Indoor and Outdoor Pools, Laser Tag, Mountain Tubing, Rock Climbing Wall, Euro Bungee, Pedal Boats and Canoes, and Banana Boats. Our ideal candidate will focus on overseeing the Winter Fun Park, and will support the Aquatics and Recreation leadership team during the off season in a supervisory role.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations to meet company standards and objectives.
• Perform daily inspections on all attractions and equipment: Magic Carpet, Rope Tow, Snow Tubing lanes and deceleration ramps, Ski Fencing, and area cleanliness.
• Communicate effectively with the Grounds, Maintenance, and Snow Making teams to ensure smooth operation of the Winter Fun Park.
• Work along side the Grounds/Snow Making teams to assist with set up, break down, and oversight of snow making and snow removal.
• Communicate effectively with the Aquatics and Recreation department to ensure staffing levels and staff performance meet company standards.
• Manage inventory of rental equipment (Skis, Ski Boots, Ice Skates, Helmets) and document regular equipment inspections.
• Address guest concerns with a sense of urgency, professionalism, and hospitality.
• Assist in the capacity of Ski Instructor or Binding Technician as necessary during peak times.
• Ensure daily inspections and checklists are completed and properly organized.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety across all facilities.
