Wiz Security Engineer

Salary: £117,000 - 143,000 per year

Requirements:
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in cloud security engineering or operations
  • Hands-on experience with Wiz and Tenable products
  • Strong hands-on background in AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Deep knowledge of container security and Kubernetes, including EKS, GKE, or AKS
  • Expertise in managing IAM and cloud permissions at scale
  • Proficiency in Python, Go, or Shell
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Helm
  • Experience with asset management and audit
  • Experience prioritising patch management
  • Experience integrating with ServiceNow and other products
Responsibilities:
  • Focus on implementing threat modeling, asset and vulnerability management, and prioritising patching
  • Lead security reviews and map attack surfaces across cloud infrastructure and products
  • Build policy-as-code and developer tooling to integrate security into CI/CD workflows
  • Design secure baselines for Kubernetes and cloud-native resources
  • Prioritize and remediate software supply chain risks from development to production
  • Scale detection and response solutions to triage alerts and stop malicious activity

We are offering a 3-month contract for a Wiz Security Engineer based in central London. This is a hybrid role with 1 to 2 days onsite each week. The role is hands-on and focused on cloud security engineering, security automation, cloud hardening, vulnerability management, and incident response. We also value experience integrating with ServiceNow and other products, and experience with Tenable for asset and vulnerability management is a distinct advantage.
