Wood Production Operator and Forklift Driver

About the role

At Grupo CRIT Interim, a leading company in temporary staffing, recruitment, and talent management, we are looking to hire Production Operators for an important company in the wood sector located near Sabadell. The selected person will participate in manufacturing and quality control processes, guaranteeing the correct functioning of the machinery and compliance with production standards.

What you'll do

Execute manufacturing operations on industrial wood machinery: cutting, edging, machining, and related production processes.

Prepare, adjust, and set up production equipment, performing necessary tests to guarantee its correct functioning.

Perform preventive maintenance tasks and cleaning of machinery, tools, and work areas.

Carry out quality controls during the production process and correct machine parameters when necessary.

Manage auxiliary production tasks such as material transfer, packaging, and logistical support.

Collaborate in warehouse operations: loading and unloading, movement of goods, and order preparation.

What we're looking for

Vocational Training (CFGM or CFGS) in wood or similar.

Minimum of 1 year of experience performing similar functions in an industrial environment.

Experience with machinery such as panel saws, industrial edgebanders, or similar.

Spanish and Catalan language proficiency.

Valid forklift license.

Valid driver's license.

Responsible, organized person, with the ability to work in a team and an orientation toward quality.

Nice to have

Previous experience in the wood sector and knowledge of numerical control is valued.

What you'll get

Initial 3-month contract through a temporary employment agency, with subsequent direct hire by the company.

Salary of €28,000 gross per year.

4th shift with a rotating schedule.

8-hour workdays during the week in a rotating morning and afternoon shift.

Weekend work (Saturday and Sunday) from 10:00 to 22:00 h with established breaks.

Minimum weekly rest of 36 hours on Monday and Tuesday.
