Plans, constructs, and repairs a variety of supply, shipping, and storage containers and similar items.

Selects the proper type and grade of wood/wood substitute from a few grades of soft pine, fir, plywood, and Masonite.

Selects containers, protective devices, cushioning materials, methods, and techniques needed for packing a variety of tools, parts, equipment, and other items.

Custom packs various items that cannot be made to fit into containers of standard size.

Cuts and assembles wood framing, install shock mounts, and cradles or cushions fragile items such as electronic assemblies, radar housings, gyroscopes, etc.

Operates a variety of power tools and material handling equipment.
