Summary
Supervises a woodcraft team at a naval shipyard, ensuring work quality, cost, and schedule targets are met while managing resources and evaluating performance.
You will serve as a WOODCRAFTER SUPERVISOR I in the Preservation Shop (Code 970), Production Resources Department Manager (Code 901), Production Resources Department (Code 900) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
You will be responsible for the quantity and quality of the work performed by subordinates.
You will deliver cost, schedule, and quality performance to customers.
You will support the economic operation of the Shipyard.
You will set the example of professional performance.
You will provide performance evaluation and feedback to work leaders and journeymen.
You will plan the use of workers, equipment, facilities, materials and tools provided through the (AIM) process for assigned units of work.
