Wordpress Developer

Requirements:

• 2+ years of front-end engineering experience working with both WordPress and React.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive design, and component-based development.
• Experience building or customising WordPress themes/page-builder components (e. g., Elementor, Gutenberg).
• Hands-on experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Experience with front-end analytics tools such as Heap, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or GTM.
• Experience adding logs, events, and instrumentation to support observability in tools like New Relic, Datadog, or similar.
• Understanding of SEO principles, Core Web Vitals, and performance optimisation.
• Strong UX sensibilities and the ability to work closely with design and marketing.
• Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and requests across marketing and engineering.
• AI proficiency - developed features using AI and have built AI features

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with PHP or custom WordPress plugin/theme development.
• Familiarity with A/B testing frameworks (e. g., Google Optimise alternatives).
• Experience with Webpack, Vite, or build optimisation.
• Understanding of tracking plans or event naming conventions.
• Experience with Figma, structured design systems, or CSS utility frameworks like Tailwind.
