We are looking for a WordPress Developer!
Requirements:
- 3+ years of commercial experience with WordPress development
- 4+ years of commercial experience with PHP development
- Strong knowledge of PHP, OOP, SOLID principles, Namespaces, and Composer
- Experience developing and maintaining custom WordPress themes and plugins
- Experience working with WordPress hooks (Actions / Filters)
- Experience with REST API, AJAX, and third-party API integrations
- Experience customizing Gutenberg blocks and editor functionality
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and JavaScript (ES6+, async/await)
- Experience building responsive, semantic, and SEO-friendly interfaces
- Understanding of WordPress architecture and best practices
- Experience working with MySQL, Git, and Docker
- Experience with build tools such as Webpack or Gulp
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Commercial development experience is required
Will be a Plus:
- Experience with WP-CLI
- WordPress performance optimization
- Experience with caching solutions (Redis, Cloudflare)
- Understanding of Core Web Vitals
- Experience with server-side tracking and analytics integrations
- Experience integrating CRM systems and external APIs
- Experience with Symfony and/or Laravel
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain custom WordPress solutions
- Build and customize WordPress themes and plugins
- Integrate third-party services and APIs
- Optimize website performance, scalability, and security
- Implement responsive and SEO-friendly user interfaces
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers
- Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Contribute to architecture and technical decision-making
- Ensure high-quality delivery of features and improvements
