WordPress / Web & IT Support Specialist
About the role
iTeraSource Philippines Corp. is seeking a skilled and versatile WordPress / Web & IT Support Specialist to support website development, maintenance, search engine optimization (SEO), and general IT operations.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical troubleshooting skills, experience with WordPress and web technologies, and the ability to work independently across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
Website Development & Maintenance
Develop, maintain, and update WordPress websites.
Troubleshoot website performance, functionality, and security issues.
Work with PHP, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.
Support API integrations and third-party applications.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Implement on-page and technical SEO improvements.
Optimize website performance, content, and search visibility.
Monitor and address website-related SEO issues.
IT & Technical Support
Troubleshoot computers, software, and general IT issues.
Support Microsoft 365 applications and user accounts.
Diagnose basic networking and connectivity problems.
Assist with technical configurations, system maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
Proven experience with WordPress development and maintenance.
Working knowledge of PHP, HTML, and CSS.
Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
Experience troubleshooting Windows computers and business applications.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and basic networking.
Strong English communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
Preferred Skills / Bonus Qualifications:
Experience with API integrations (preferred).
Familiarity with web hosting, DNS, and server administration (preferred).
Knowledge or experience with Ribbon Session Border Controllers (SBCs), including configuration, administration, or troubleshooting, is considered an asset but is not required.
Familiarity with SIP trunking, VoIP, or Microsoft Teams Phone integration is an advantage.
